The Royal Exchange in London as it was at the time of The Virginia Company of London. The exchange was founded in 1565 by Sir Thomas Gresham to be a centre of commerce in London. The design was inspired by a bourse Gresham had seen in Antwerp and is near the streets of Cornhill and Threadneedle.
