Finding excellent genealogy blogs online can be a task. My idea of the ideal blogs is one which emails (or rss feeds) you brief messages about what is going on in the genealogy world, i.e., the best deals, most information, etc. Also, since I enjoy a bit of history, which I think goes hand-in-hand with genealogy, especially during the research process, historical blogs are also a treasure. Such figures as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were not alone when they were creating history. Our ancestors were also there, living their lives, exploring new territories, creating communities, and so on. Along this line, the following blogs were created to be helpful and entertain the family researcher, genealogist, historian, trivia lover, or just plain curious person.
